DETAILS: Giving myself the permission to chase my big dreams of working as a full-time photographer and artist fueled the making of this poem. The inspiration I get from being able to create and do the things I love so much poured into this poem. The dahlias featured in this piece are all hand-sketched and hand-painted by me as well. Dahlias are my favorite and in this piece, they symbolize the inner strength, change, and creativity needed to persevere and let your wings unfurl to their fullest expanse.
